Description: Interest free loans



A Child Waits Foundation

Description: They offer both grants and low cost loans for adoption completion – maximum of $10,000 (you may apply for both a grant and a loan)



Adoption Bridge

Description: This program is offered through our NCAF group and families can raise up to ⅓ of their adoption costs. 3% of donations are deducted for PayPal fees.

Description: Benefits are available to military families, as well as many other federal employees. Many states offer their employees generous reimbursements – this affects state employees of all kinds – including school teachers. It does not hurt to ask!

Federal Tax Credit

Description: You may be able to take a tax credit for qualified expenses paid to adopt an eligible child. The credit may be allowed for the adoption of a child with special needs even if you do not have any qualified expenses.

State Subsidies
